Fully upholstered in a premium 100 Viscos fabric, the mattress benefits from a hand tufted finish thats designed to ensure its fillings stay firmly in place. Natural fillings such as cotton, help to regulate body temperatures by wicking moisture away, resulting a perfectly fresh sleeping environment. The interior of the mattress features a unique make-up of 1000 central pocket springs, with 1000 mini tablet pocket spring comfort layers on either side. Pocket springs are small in diameter compared to traditional open coils and housed in their own cloth sleeves that are totally independent of any surrounding springs. Reserved for premium mattresses, an added feature is side-stitching; a labour intensive and intricate technique that takes many years for craftsmen to master.. The side-stitching process involves the outer rows of springs being sewn to the mattress border by using high-tension twine and a long upholstery needle. This process strengthens the mattress border and prevents it from bowing out over time and provides edge-to-edge support across the width. Making up the set is a deep divan base that offers a wide selection of fabrics and colours, plus a choice of base types and storage drawers.
